Home Inspection Tips to prepare your Home
1) A smooth inspection requires 2.5 to 3 hrs depending on the size and the age of the house. Kindly advice the home owner to make sure all interior and exterior light fixtures work
2) Provide access to the furnace, water heater, walls and electrical panel (If the panel is locked, please unlock or provide keys.)
3) Ensure that windows and doors are accessable - any personal items restricting the access or crowding the area has to moved.
4) Interior walls, Basement walls & floor needs to be visible.
5) Clear the way to the attic access panel or pull down, especially in a closet. Remove any items that will inhibit the inspector.
6) Provide keys, Remote Fob to car garages or unlock sheds and outbuildings.
7) Remove or restrain pets on site.
8) Clear walkways of snow or other obstructions
